How to Change the Sort Order of a Category
This guide explains how to adjust the sort order of a category in your knowledge base or blog. You can sort by various fields, such as publish date, title, or other relevant options.
Steps to Change the Sort Order
1. Navigate to the Category Settings

Go to the category you want to modify.

In the top right-hand corner, click on Category Settings.
2. Scroll to the Sorting Options

Scroll down to the bottom of the category settings page.

Ignore any other settings and focus on the sorting options.
3. Unlock the Category (If Needed)

If your category is locked, you need to unlock it before making changes.
4. Adjust the Default Sort Order

Locate the Default Sort Order field.

Select the field you want to sort by (e.g., Publish Date).

Choose the sort direction:

Descending (latest date first, older dates follow).
