How to Change the Subject Line of Your Form Submissions

Follow these steps to modify the subject line for your form submissions:

  1. Access the Forms Dashboard

    • Navigate to the forms dashboard by going to: /_sf/admin/forms/.
    • Locate the form you wish to edit (e.g., the "Contact Us" form).
  2. Edit the Form

    • Click on the form to open the editor.
  3. Locate the Subject Line Setting

    • In the form editor, find the field labelled "Extra data to include in subject line".
    • This field allows you to specify additional text that will appear in the email subject line for submissions.
  4. Customise the Subject Line

    • Enter the desired text into this field. For example:
      • "New Enquiry"
      • "Contact Request"
  5. Save Your Changes

    • Once you've updated the field, save the form to apply the changes.
  6. Test the Form

    • Submit the form to confirm that the updated subject line appears as expected in your email notifications.
