How to Update the Canonical Tag on SourceFlow
What Is a Canonical Tag?
A canonical tag is a way to tell search engines which URL is the preferred version of a page when there are multiple pages with similar or identical content. This helps avoid SEO issues like duplicate content penalties and consolidates ranking signals.
📍 Step-by-Step Instructions:

Log into Admin Panel
Go to your SourceFlow admin dashboard. -
Navigate to Content
From the left-hand menu, select Content. -
Go to the Page Editor
Click into the page to open its editing options. -
Find the Page You Want to Edit
Search for or select the page you'd like to update. -
Switch to the SEO Tab
At the top of the editor, click on the SEO tab.
This is where you'll manage your meta tags, including the canonical tag. -
Locate the Canonical Field
Scroll to the Canonical input field. It’s under the Keywords field. -
Enter Your Canonical URL
Paste or type in the full URL you want search engines to treat as the primary version of the page (e.g.https://www.example.com/services/recruitment). -
Save Changes
Be sure to hit Save and Publish.
